Supporting street food business throughout Coronavirus

Danny and Nickee Hall of Beast Burger have taken their much-loved street food business at Freeman Street Market and created a home delivery service, working from their own kitchen.

Within 20 minutes of announcing the service on social media, Beast Burger had booked all of its available delivery slots. “Setting up at home has been challenging but it just means you have to think outside the box a little bit. We’ve streamlined our menu and stripped it right back to make things easier and quicker for us. Hopefully this will enable us to still be around when all this is over. At the minute it’s helping us pay the bills and stay relevant, and also gives our customers a bit of something to look forward to on a Saturday.”

Danny and Nickee have been receiving business support from E-Factor Food Sector Business Advisor since setting up in business. As they navigate the coronavirus pandemic, Rachel has been working with Beast Burger to offer specialist advice.

“Rachel has been fantastic as always and has been there any time for anything we needed help with. She’s told us about the grants and schemes we can apply for during this pandemic.”
