Riverhead Coffee have a mantra of ‘Coffee. Community. Kindness.’ It has always been important for owner Nic Till to provide a place for people in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes areas to meet, chat, and enjoy good food and drink, and despite the country’s lockdown she has continued to offer an invaluable service, delivering brunch boxes and cake treats to homes and launching a Members Club.
“Our Members Club is something that has been on a longer-term plan for a while as a way of retaining loyalty from customers and helping them to feel that they are part of a community. It seemed like the right time to launch it as the lockdown came into force as we have a lot of people who wanted to help in some way but didn’t really know how. For many of us, Riverhead Coffee isn’t just a coffee shop, it really is a community or a family and we want to make sure that will remain the case when we are allowed to reopen. Members will be able to take advantage of some great discounts and exclusive offers once we re-open and in the meantime, we will be hand delivering monthly treats as a thank you.
Continuing business support has been imperative for the long-term sustainability of Riverhead Coffee, and Nic has been continuing to work with E-Factor’s Food Sector Business Advisor Rachel Appleton and Humber LEP Business Advisor Kevin Franklin.
“I’ve been in close contact with E-Factor during this time both with my food sector advisor Rachel Appleton who has kept us well informed on the ever-changing business support availability and information. Also, Kevin Franklin has been assisting us with grant applications through the Investment Hub.”
